Rev. David Gerald Elliott    

     Rev. David Gerald Elliott was born and raised in Oxon Hill, MD. He is the last of five children born to Morris and Kim Elliott on August 18, 1986. He accepted his call to the preaching ministry at the age of 16 and on March 16, 2003, Rev. Elliott preached his trial sermon at Beth Shalom A.M.E. Zion Church in Washington, D.C.

    Rev. Elliott received his formal education in the Prince Georges County public school
system of Maryland. His life would change for the better when he was accepted to Clinton Junior College, in Rock Hill SC. Rev. Elliott received his Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Clinton College. Rev. Elliott then matriculated through Coppin State University located in Baltimore, Md., graduating with his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. In May of 2015, Rev. Elliott earned his Masters of Divinity Degree at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University located in Richmond, VA.
 
    Rev. Elliott has served in many levels in the A.M.E Zion Church through the Christian Education Department. He has worked on the local, district, conference and connectional level with event implementation, logistical planning, and program coordination.

    Rev. Elliott is a man of God, focused on changing the world by showing the love of Christ. Rev Elliott preaches liberation and teaches that all people must live on purpose in God, believing that this is the desire of God. Following the rule of our good teacher, Jesus Christ, to love God with all our hearts, minds and soul and loving our neighbors as ourselves.

    Rev. Elliott is proud to be the pastor of St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church, where everybody is somebody and Jesus is Lord!
